Hidden in the back streets of Dolgellau, a small market town in the heart of Snowdonia National Park are the ‘headquarters’ of Eleanor’s Attic. In reality it’s a small workshop manned by myself and a close team of talented colleagues.

Eleanor’s Attic began life as a farmers’ market stall selling gifts and accessories made from vintage bits and bobs. Then, one day, a piece of coated cotton given by a friend sparked a whole new addiction. Never tiring of working with the vibrant colours, it wasn’t long before I persuaded a local shopkeeper to take the plunge and stock some bags to try. They were an instant hit and it wasn’t long before they were in demand in even the remotest corners of Wales.

We are now pushing further afield into Europe (and aiming for world domination). Our bags can be found in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Sweden. If you would like to be the first to stock the in your country let us know.

Bookmark this site or check out my facebook page to find out how we are getting on and to see my new ranges and fabric combinations.

More importantly if you’re the proud owner of an Eleanor’s Attic bag and would like to share your bag’s adventures, send me a little explanatory note and photo of you both at the beach, meeting the in-laws, out on the town or climbing Kilimanjaro or post it on my facebook page so we can all see what you’ve been up to!
